About

I have been deeply involved with technology for over two decades. My undergraduate degrees are in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. After receiving a Masters is in Business Administration I spent some time in corporate America working as a accountant, consultant, and auditor.

Upon starting my own business, I once again become immersed in technology. Almost every business system is dependent upon technology in some way. Once you leave the corporate world there is no IT department to rely upon for guidance on which technology to employ or to assist you in maintaining your physical equipment and online systems. It’s all up to you to figure out which technology to employ to most efficiently build and maintain your business systems. And if something breaks you have to fix it.

While running your own business you learn what is required to complete a task, and then you move on to the next most pressing issue. You learn a lot but there is little free time to dive deeply into an area of technology that interests you. So recently I’ve made a concerted effort to study the technologies employed by full-time IT, cloud, and cybersecurity professionals.

Two of my passions are writing and technology, and this site allows me to pursue both interests. In the blog posts, I’ll document my deep dive into technology. Hopefully, you’ll gain something from my accounts that you can employ in your own career.
